Anybody who wants to read some amazing works of short fiction — and get up to speed on the changing state of science fiction over the past few decades — should rejoice to learn that Gardner Dozois’ indispensible Year’s Best anthologies are coming out as e-books in October. The Oct. 16 release from St. Martin’s Press includes all 29 volumes in Dozois’ annual survey of the field. Plus some other great Dozois anthologies, including The Best of the Best: 20 Years of the Best, Modern Classics of Fantasy, The Good Old Stuff and The Good New Stuff.
Very good news for anyone who loves great sci-fi. I have about 6 of these anthologies and the stories are incredible.
